In the Dark;
And then that morning, some of the kidnapped in Somarium and some of the kidnapped in Vatheon found themselves again drawn to another location, another world, perhaps. They would wake up, scattered amongst the ruins, Vatheon architecture colliding with Somarium’s in a decrepit, mismatched way.
Those originating from Somarium might recognize the castle that had once been in the sky from the shadowy corridors. Those from Vatheon will surely see hints of the church in the columns and the curving doorways.
But regardless, it seems somehow they are now inside--and they are trapped there.
Opening doors leads to more shadowy corridors, monsters of rotting fish and shadowy, deadly noctaere. Some parts of the flooring are rotting as well, crumbling underneath the slightest of weight to reveal dark, cold, black water beneath.
Watch your step in this strange place--it seems to be hostile. Thankfully, it looks like you’ve got help, and from another world.

Welcome welcome Sommunists and Vatheonites to the crossover portion of this week!
As the signal post above indicates, everyone will be arriving in a mix-matched setting apart from Vatheon and Somarium which resembles a mash up of the Church and the Floating Castle, only now they’re trapped inside. All SFCs and Dreamberries appear to be missing as well. Everything will be face-to-face interaction here, but thankfully that’s not hard, as everyone is trapped in the same place. They will no longer be in Somarium or Vatheon, so you cannot post or tag things in game from 4/28 to 4/29. ICly that is how long the crossover will last, though backtagging is always acceptable and encouraged! Watch out for the monsters, and feel free to post and mingle around!
Please use this format to title your thread, so people can know what to tag:
Character Name | Game Played In | Open/Closed
More information can be found, again, at the plotting post, and questions can be asked here!
Most of all, have fun!

Death the Kid | Somarium | OPEN
yet he could sense the souls of a lot of people, some familiar, others foreign.
well, there was only one thing to do. get through this place, try to find those he knew, possibly reconnect/reorder a few things, and shoot up those noctaere and hideous fish things in the process. at least he had his guns.]
no subject
That is she could until Pip started as though he smelt something he recognized (however he could over the rotting fish smell) and took off.]
Pip! Where are you going? [Then she follows after him, keeping a tight grip on her makeshift weapon. The rather strong PING her Soul Perception takes, however, almost makes her drop it.] ...Is this another dream?
[It must be, why would she be sensing Kid? He had been gone for so long now.]
no subject
Maka?
[was she here, too? but before he could really do anything, he was suddenly jumped on by a strange....thing.]
What the—hey!
[trying to pry it off leg.]
no subject
...What are you doing here? When did you come back? Why didn't you try to contact me?
[So many questions also she's not going to take Pip off of Kid, nope, he's been pining for daddy.]
no subject
Come back? What are you talking about?
no subject
[Nah, he'll just nestle on Kid's shoulder. Enjoy the fur.]
...And Pip really missed you.
no subject
but again, Maka was proving to be far more confusing than this "Pip" thing.]
Gone since—Maka, you and I have been in Somarium along with Crona and Liz. I haven't left it since I first arrived over a year ago.
And I have no idea what this...Pip is. [side-eying it, though now he's really unnerved. no, that was Maka's soul. unless this was some really good illusion, that was Maka. but he still had no clue what she was talking about.]
no subject
[No, it's not that it's not him, it's just...not the one she actually knows?]
Somarium? I've never heard of a place like that, I've been in Vatheon for the past year.
[It's a letdown to say the least. For a brief moment it felt like she was in contact with someone that really knew her again.]
...Pip's the Eevee that you hatched from an egg we found in the refrigerator. We don't know how it got there, but we can only assume that Patti brought it home. He's been really attached to you ever since.
no subject
[frowning.]
But...how...? [too much. this was just way too much.
and...that would explain why the thing was nuzzling his neck. Kid reaches up and finally manages to move the creature off from his should and hold it in his hands, staring at it. stop giving him that adoring look, that only makes him feel weirder. and Patti brought this thing back? in the fridge sadly, after another second he was not as surprised as he probably should have been.
after another moment of silence he shakes his head and sets Pip back down on the ground.]
I'm sorry, but I honestly have no idea what you're talking about, and the thought of there being more worlds that can somehow make duplicates of us is starting to make me feel ill.
no subject
[Tell Kid to turn off his brain, that's a good one. Tell Pip to stop adoring Kid, that's even funnier.]
I've...been having some weird dreams lately anyway, like...about Excalibur. You coming back wouldn't be so much of a stretch, I'm actually glad you're not back!
[...Cough.]
I mean because...it's not that I don't miss you or anything, it's just that Vatheon hasn't been a very good place for us.
no subject
[...oh merciful heavens and beyond the poor girl—]
Then you should be glad you weren't in Somarium. There your dreams have a high chance of actually being publicized for all to see.
[though for some reason he feels bad. not to mention a little awkward. now he had to wonder what he did over in this Vatheon place.]
What is this Vatheon place, anyway? Did something happen?
no subject
[SHUDDER. Even Pip looks irritated at the memory.]
Vatheon's a city under the ocean...the story we're given when we arrive is that we were brought there by the god in the coral to maintain the barrier around the city with our energy. But then it turned out later that we were actually brought there for the purpose of observation when we undergo curses by scientists who may or may not be still around. Yes, the curses even affected you.
no subject
more importantly, what the hell, they were experimented on??]
What kind of curses? And were you ever told why you were being observed or what the curses were for?

Though, it's not like he wasn't afraid of anything just because he had the arch-demon's powers. Oh, no. Ruca was definitely not the most courageous person out there and being alone in a place where something could attack him any moment now, was making him even more scared.
Holding his broadsword in both his hands as he walked through the corridors, the boy wished only that he wouldn't be stuck all alone here.]
nooo you're fine!
unfortunately though he could sense a soul, that doesn't mean he knows exactly where it is. so he'll just be turning a corner and almost run into him without realizing it.]
oh good <3
He sighs with relief.]
...Oh thank goodness...
no subject
Sorry, I didn't realize you were so close. Are you all right?

no subject
I'm assuming you woke up here like I did. Have you met anyone else or found anything?
no subject
no subject
That's all right. It's about the same for me, and I've been trying to find a way out and help anyone I come across.
no subject
[Worry, worry]
no subject
I'm going to keep moving. If you'd like to come along you can, unless you're able to go on your own—not that I would advise it. [well he had a sword so he must be able to fight. or so he thinks.]
no subject
[Ruca is able to fight, but he really doesn't want to be alone here.]
no subject
I don't mind at all, and it's better this way.
What skills or abilities do you have?
[always one to think tactically and strategize.]
