In the Dark;
And then that morning, some of the kidnapped in Somarium and some of the kidnapped in Vatheon found themselves again drawn to another location, another world, perhaps. They would wake up, scattered amongst the ruins, Vatheon architecture colliding with Somarium’s in a decrepit, mismatched way.
Those originating from Somarium might recognize the castle that had once been in the sky from the shadowy corridors. Those from Vatheon will surely see hints of the church in the columns and the curving doorways.
But regardless, it seems somehow they are now inside--and they are trapped there.
Opening doors leads to more shadowy corridors, monsters of rotting fish and shadowy, deadly noctaere. Some parts of the flooring are rotting as well, crumbling underneath the slightest of weight to reveal dark, cold, black water beneath.
Watch your step in this strange place--it seems to be hostile. Thankfully, it looks like you’ve got help, and from another world.

Welcome welcome Sommunists and Vatheonites to the crossover portion of this week!
As the signal post above indicates, everyone will be arriving in a mix-matched setting apart from Vatheon and Somarium which resembles a mash up of the Church and the Floating Castle, only now they’re trapped inside. All SFCs and Dreamberries appear to be missing as well. Everything will be face-to-face interaction here, but thankfully that’s not hard, as everyone is trapped in the same place. They will no longer be in Somarium or Vatheon, so you cannot post or tag things in game from 4/28 to 4/29. ICly that is how long the crossover will last, though backtagging is always acceptable and encouraged! Watch out for the monsters, and feel free to post and mingle around!
Please use this format to title your thread, so people can know what to tag:

More information can be found, again, at the plotting post, and questions can be asked here!
Most of all, have fun!

[now, a bit curious.]
What's Shibusen?
no subject
[...well. looks like he has to explain a little of his world. very quick explanation go.]
Back home souls hold great importance and it is our job to protect the innocents from being consumed by those who have been corrupted. We are also tasked to execute the corrupted souls because if left alone they could turn into a powerful force of evil and wreak havoc and chaos onto the world.
no subject
I see... But... um, it's a school to train meisters and weapons...?
[that would mean the weapons are alive, right? Now, that seems familiar. Ruca knew two... well, three sentient weapons.]
no subject
There are those who can transform into a weapon form and meisters are those with strong souls and ability who can wield them. Weapons are stronger than the average weapon, and combined the meister and weapon are more powerful than the average fighter with a standard weapon. That is because a meister and weapon can resonate their souls with one another, thus increasing their strength and ability.

[Ruca shakes his head.]
Ah, a-anyway, thank you for explaining this to me.
no subject
No problem. It's usually hard to explain one thing without talking about the rest, so I apologize for the lengthy explanation.

[and...slowing. there coming into a rather dark area and that definitely cannot bode well. there was also the sound of water dripping echoing from within.
his senses are tingling.]...This is the only way, though I'm not sure I like the looks of it. If you want we can try to find another way around.
no subject
Ruca doesn't like the dark area, but he doesn't want to make Kid look for another way, just because Ruca was too scared.]
N-no, it's okay. We'll just have to be careful...
no subject
Are you sure? Honestly I'm less inclined myself, but... [he had already been around a few ways and this was one way he hasn't gone through yet.]

I'll go in first. If you hear anything from behind, just let me know.
[he slowly walks forward, guns held out in front as they venture onward.
and so their real adventure begins...what danger will our two heroes face!?]
no subject
[Ruca follows Kid, focused on listening for any suspicious sounds...
In darkness everything seemed so much more scarier. Especially sounds. Ruca couldn't help but be alarmed every time he heard something.]
no subject
everything seemed to be going...decently. only the dim flames of candles offered the duo any light to show the way, and the floors were flooded with shallow pools of water. there was no choice but to walk through it.
but...was something else lurking around them?]
no subject
There's nothing there...
[sigh. He should calm down. He can't react like this to every sound.]
no subject
I don't see anything eit—[and just letting out a strange yell as he's suddenly yanked to the ground and into the water.]
no subject
Ruca quickly rushes at the thing that yanked Kid to the ground. He attacks it with his sword, hoping that the monster will just leave... It's hard to hit something when you can't see it clearly, though, and Ruca is worried about Kid, too.]
no subject
whatever got him released its grip and Kid was now scrambling back upright—unhappily soaked.]
no subject
Ruca glanced at Kid.]
Are you alright?
no subject
[and he can't sense it, which only makes it worse. but he glances at Ruca.]
Thanks.
no subject
[you'll thank him after this thing is gone.
Ruca tries to find any movement in the darkness, but he has no luck... Then something attacks him from behind. He had no time to react!]
no subject
Look out!
[and going to reach out and grab the guy's arm with one hand to pull him toward him while the other fires a few rounds.]
no subject
T-thanks...
[but isn't that actually useless? They might never hit that thing - whatever it actually is - when it's hiding in the darkness]
We can't fight like this...
no subject
You said you know fire magic, correct?
no subject
[he was actually thinking of using his magic...]
Should I use it now? It won't last for too long, but I can cast the same spell a few times, if it's necessary.
