In the Dark;

And then that morning, some of the kidnapped in Somarium and some of the kidnapped in Vatheon found themselves again drawn to another location, another world, perhaps. They would wake up, scattered amongst the ruins, Vatheon architecture colliding with Somarium’s in a decrepit, mismatched way.

Those originating from Somarium might recognize the castle that had once been in the sky from the shadowy corridors. Those from Vatheon will surely see hints of the church in the columns and the curving doorways.

But regardless, it seems somehow they are now inside--and they are trapped there.

Opening doors leads to more shadowy corridors, monsters of rotting fish and shadowy, deadly noctaere. Some parts of the flooring are rotting as well, crumbling underneath the slightest of weight to reveal dark, cold, black water beneath.

Watch your step in this strange place--it seems to be hostile. Thankfully, it looks like you’ve got help, and from another world.

Welcome welcome Sommunists and Vatheonites to the crossover portion of this week!

As the signal post above indicates, everyone will be arriving in a mix-matched setting apart from Vatheon and Somarium which resembles a mash up of the Church and the Floating Castle, only now they’re trapped inside. All SFCs and Dreamberries appear to be missing as well. Everything will be face-to-face interaction here, but thankfully that’s not hard, as everyone is trapped in the same place. They will no longer be in Somarium or Vatheon, so you cannot post or tag things in game from 4/28 to 4/29. ICly that is how long the crossover will last, though backtagging is always acceptable and encouraged! Watch out for the monsters, and feel free to post and mingle around!

Please use this format to title your thread, so people can know what to tag:

Character Name | Game Played In | Open/Closed

More information can be found, again, at the plotting post, and questions can be asked here!

Most of all, have fun!

[Weapon pointed at his face? Leon reacts by drawing his sword, but he only manages a violent flinch when a shot is fired, and something wet spatters against his neck. He glances over his shoulder at the twitching creature with a smoking bullet hole through its head, before looking back to the gun-toting stranger.]

...thanks for that.

yay! XD

[Thankfully he's quite calm for someone who's had a sword drawn on them.] No problem. While the initial sentiment may be to look out for one's own self, I find it nicer to help look out for others. One never knows when they may find themselves in need.

[There was a bit of a pause for just a moment.] You can go ahead and put away the sword for now, I believe.

about time he met Arthur, I think

I might be more inclined if you lowered your weapon first... [It's his first time encountering guns so you'll have to forgive the wariness. He lowers his sword, though, in compromise.]

it is. stylishly late, eh?

That's a fair enough request. [In a show of good faith, he lowered his gun as well.]

My apologies if I had startled you. Those things tend to come out of nowhere.
thekingsdog: (battlemode leon)

naturally. He's meeting Arthur after all. ;)

So I've noticed.

It's alright, you did what I would have done— [A growl behind him is the only warning he gets as the monster he thought dead grabs for his boot. Good thing he's got his sword out. Only a small matter of plunging the blade into it's head, though because it surprised him, he uses so much force that it slides clean through brains and bone.]

'tis the best way to meet him, after all.

[There was always something morbidly elegant about the way a sword could be so efficient and relatively clean.]

Seems they don't really enjoy being dead too much. However, I'm sure that should do it for that particular one. If it comes back again, I'm going to be quite disappointed.

Or slightly amazed. I'm not too sure which.

[Leon is grim-faced when he has to put a boot to the creature's head in order to pull his sword out. His expression changes into a grimace when the blade comes free because with it comes a spray of blood and guts, which he just barely avoids.

Relatively clean. Right.

It smells horrid but Arthur's words have Leon stalking around the creature again, and with several methodological swings, he severs its limbs.]

There. Now at least if it does, it won't be capable of following us. [turning to Arthur, smiling slightly through bits of spattered gore.] I'm Leon. Thanks again for earlier.

I'm sure any thoughts it may have had of coming back have quite effectively been discontinued. I'm rather thankful for that, however, as that is definitely one less we'll have to ever deal with. ...though one more than I would have liked. [His ideal number would have been 'zero', but he knew that such a number was also a bit of a dream as that seemed to be more impossible than settling a debate between science and religion.

Anyway, he at least offered a polite smile in return.]
A pleasure to meet you, Leon. I'm Arthur. It's a shame we had to meet under such circumstances.
